Internship Recruitment

Not sure about the direction you want to take with your accounting career? We can help! Explore an internship with Kennedy and Coe. An internship can give you an inside look at the career field you have chosen.

Our internships are offered during tax season - January through mid April. Internships are full time and are paid positions. It's important to interview on campus during the fall semester in order to be considered for our internships.

What do you gain by participation in an internship?

  • hands-on experience with the opportunity to apply the theories and principles you’ve learned in school,
  • you can network with professionals who have been working in the accounting industry – learn from them and build professional relationships,
  • you’ll be able to use industry-specific software and technology
  • you’ll participate in the same orientation and training and will perform the same type of work as our entry-level accountants and consultants.

Why do we offer internships?

  • We begin a working relationship with you as a potential future employee, as several of our interns are later offered full time positions after graduation
  • You provide us with the extra help we need during our busiest time of year

What are the requirements prior to participating in an internship?

  • must be an accounting or finance major
  • completed introductory and intermediate accounting courses
  • completed a tax course
  • GPA of 3.0 or above in your major
