Kennedy and Coe, LLC began in 1932 by M.J. Kennedy. He partnered with C.L. Coe and formed Kennedy and Coe. We are now a large regional public accounting and consulting firm with
8 offices in 2 states. Kurt Siemers,
CPA, is the current Chief Executive
Officer of the firm, which has a staff
of approximately 230 personnel including 23 members and 21 managers.
Technology is used throughout the firm to improve communications within our offices and with our clients, and to produce work more efficiently. All offices are connected via a Wide Area Network (WAN), which is used to transfer files, electronic mail, and voice calls throughout the firm. All of our offices have Video Conferencing capabilities. The entire firm is now "Paperless", which is a software system to prepare, file, and retain copies of client's tax returns and related documents. Every employee has either a notebook or desktop computer running Windows XP. We have a Technology Group that provides help desk support, on-site support, and computer training for the Kennedy and Coe, LLC staff.
Our services are more than just the traditional tax and audit. We provide specialty services in areas such as mediation, estate and succession planning, business valuation, feed yard and agricultural consulting, manufacturing, financial institution consulting and compensation and retirement planning and others.
Kennedy and Coe, LLC is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. The Firm is also a member of all the state societies of certified public accountants in which it practices.
