Kurtis G. Siemers, CEO

Kurtis G. Siemers has been with Kennedy and Coe, LLC, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants since 1972 and was admitted to the membership in 1977. He became the Firm's Chief Executive Officer in April 2003 and currently serves in that capacity. A 1971 graduate of Fort Hays State University, Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Business. His experience in accounting and consulting is broad, ranging from manufacturers, truck and car washes, farming, grain companies and gas and oil to banking, estate planning, and strategic consulting to business owners.

Kurt is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Central Kansas Chapter of Certified Public Accountants. He has been a member of the AICPA Council. Kurt has been President of the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA), chairman of the KSCPA Long-Range Planning Committee and chairman of the KSCPA Audit Committee, and is currently a member of the KSCPA Nominations Committee, and a member of the KSCPA Special Legislative Drafting Committee. He also has served as a facilitator for the National CPA Vision Project and the Kansas delegate to the National Future Forum for the CPA Vision Project.
