Not many CPAs can say they've been charged by a wild boar. Kevin Mills, a CPA with Kennedy and Coe, LLC since 1999, survived this experience after hunting a boar near Lake Texoma. Kevin refused to listen to the hunting guide who warned him not to run down the creek bank, and after firing the first shot, the boar turned on him. It took six more rapid shots to bring the boar down.
Kevin says working at Kennedy and Coe means instilling creativity and building relationships with clients and that is why he loves his job. Kevin has a background in agriculture taxation, succession and estate planning as well as farm program services. He became a member of the firm in 2008.
Kevin, and his wife, Amanda, a local elementary school teacher, enjoy any and all time with their son, Dominick. Kevin's hobbies include the occasional poker game, and he continues to hunt, even hoping to one day shoot a grizzly bear.
