Russ Frey would love to repeat the perfect vacation he once spent with his wife, Lisa, on the island of Maui, Hawaii. For one week, the couple relaxed on the beach with no computers or phones and made their days full of eating, parasailing, golf and horseback riding.

Russ joined Kennedy and Coe, LLC in 1997 and works from the firm's Garden City, Kansas, office. Though it's not as carefree as his ideal vacation, Russ says he enjoys Kennedy and Coe because of the opportunity to assist clients with a variety of projects. As a member of the firm, Russ brings a background in tax law, small business consulting, auditing and financial statement preparation. He specializes in working with dairies as part of the firm's Agriculture group.

Russ' philosophy of doing whatever possible to help clients may stem from his first part-time job pulling weeds at the local Holiday Inn, where he learned to work diligently. If Russ were to win the lottery, he says he would become a philanthropist but first he should check with Lisa and their three children, Amber, Macie and Walker.
