Commenting on the promotions, K·Coe Isom CEO Jeff Wald said, “Jeanne, Danielle, Justin and Chris provide the expertise that will further strengthen the depth of specialist knowledge in our team of dedicated principals focusing on the agriculture sector. As young, bright leaders, their promotions demonstrate K·Coe Isom’s continued commitment to recognizing and providing the best people with long-term career opportunities. The future looks bright as we bolster the firm with this new level of advisory leadership. We congratulate them on this outstanding achievement.”

Jeanne Bernick leads the firm’s market and growth strategies in food and agriculture. Through her role managing the needs of large commercial producers, Jeanne is attuned to providing insight and innovation within the client experience. She specializes in the future of family businesses, helping them to optimize, grow, and transition their legacy businesses. Jeanne holds a Certificate in Family Business Advising (CFBA) and has spent her lifetime and career in an agricultural environment.

“Jeanne’s ability to provide overall market leadership and bring invaluable insight to key agricultural markets has been remarkable. She is instrumental in helping our markets flourish – and in turn, our customers – by increasing the breadth and depth of services for the industry at large. Jeanne also maintains a firm dedication to the purpose we serve: to create value which impacts lives,” says Wald.

Danielle McCormick serves as the functional leader for K·Coe People, the Human Resources external consultancy team. She provides the service and product development for K·Coe Isom customers needing organizational services. Danielle has a rich foundation in leading HR teams and providing culture and compliance solutions. Through her innate ability to identify and solve leadership issues, as well as provide succession, executive coaching, performance, talent, and recruitment guidance, she naturally leads these K·Coe People initiatives for clients. In addition to an impressive career in HR and organizational management, Danielle is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC).

“Danielle’s impressive approach to every individual’s success, and how that relates to an organization’s success, is an innate quality that stems from her leadership abilities. Through her lead in developing and building K·Coe People for the benefit of our customers, she demonstrates both expertise and passion for helping grow organizations and develop teams,” says Wald.

Justin Mentele, CPA, is specialized in working with closely-held manufacturers and biofuels companies in all facets of their business, from tax and audit to compliance and entity structuring. His strength in finding solutions for clients’ unique scenarios and issues sets him apart. Justin is spearheading the leadership and setup of a new Indiana-based location for K·Coe Isom, using his tremendous organizational and relationship skills to build out a team and drive market growth for the region.

“Justin has invaluable experience and relationships within the biofuels and manufacturing markets, managing client needs with such a high level of service and passion. We look forward to Justin taking the helm in our new Indiana-based office, as it’s another great opportunity to capitalize on his remarkable sensibilities for developing people, expanding new client relationships, and growing future markets that are intrinsic to his consultancy DNA,” says Wald.

Chris Pfannenstiel, CPA, is passionate about delivering specialized tax, financial, and estate planning for agriculture producers in Kansas, Oklahoma, and the Corn Belt, particularly Ohio and Indiana. In his work, he shows tremendous dedication to sustaining and creating client relationships, contributing to business growth, and the mentorship and development of his team. He brings his first-hand farming and ranching experience to the operations he works with.

“Chris is instrumental in advising ag production clients on long-term strategy. He is a recognized expert in farm tax and accounting issues, and serves as our firm’s authority on grower strategy and financial solutions throughout the Midwest. Chris’ leadership skills epitomize the client-centric values our firm was founded upon– and ultimately, his work greatly impacts our ag customers and their families,” states Wald.

The promotions were effective on April 1, 2018.

Of course we have a bias to begin with, since Danielle is our daughter-in-law, but we are pleased to see that her dedicated work and leadership talents are being recoginized and rewarded. Congratulations to K-Coe Isom for their foresight, recognition, and reward to not only Danielle, but also to women in the workplace. But especially to Danielle!
    Way to go lady!
