California Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Services
With a full sustainability team of CARB-accredited auditors, K·Coe is positioned to help with the mandatory LCFS verification and validation required beginning January 1, 2020. Our specialists are trained to navigate the complex requirements for the production of ethanol, biodiesel, and dairy biomethane, among others.
K·Coe Isom has submitted its application to be a third party LCFS as set by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and the supporting qualifications necessary to conduct verifications for LCFS beginning in 2020. We anticipate the third-party verification body accreditation in the first round of approvals by CARB to be announced soon. In the meantime, feel free to contact us with questions on the new LCFS regulations or the validation process.
“The details of this regulation are pretty complicated,” says Donna Funk, principal and biofuels industry leader at K·Coe Isom. “The validation process is involved, and it’s clear that producers will want to get started right away with pre-verification steps, if they haven’t already.”
K·Coe Isom’s biofuels and environmental team is experienced in helping you with your compliance needs and that will extend
to the upcoming Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) verification services as required by the California Air Resources Board
(CARB). Learn more here!
