Chuck improves the financial performance of community banks through strategic planning, management consulting, and enterprise risk management. With over 20 years of experience in the banking industry, he advises bankers toward optimal solutions that address both bank and community needs.

A reliable resource, Chuck’s background includes serving as a consumer, real estate, and commercial lender, ATM network manager, credit card portfolio manager, and in various management positions. He assists community banks in compliance, marketing, succession planning, operations, policies and procedures, internal controls, and capital planning. He also facilitates team building and outlines action steps so bank’s leadership teams can attain success in lean and good times. For example:

  • Guiding the board and new management team of a mid-sized community bank to develop a strategic plan that included a new vision statement, mission statement, and core values (for all employees) as well as action plans to increase communication, growth, and profitability.
  • Providing regulatory compliance consulting, including help desk, coaching, and testing, for a banking client through more than a decade of regulation changes and successful examinations.
  • Offering more than 10 years of strategic planning services so a mid-sized community bank could increase leadership expertise while undergoing significant senior management turnover and board retirements.

Fostering trustworthy relationships in the banking industry excites Chuck. He brings new ideas that get to the root of a problem. Community bankers know that when working with Chuck, their success is his #1 purpose and priority.
