Matthew specializes in sustainability assurance and provides strategic guidance and sustainability certification services via KCoe’s subsidiary, Averum, an accredited certification body for food and ag businesses.

Matthew guides agribusinesses through a minimally-invasive audit and verification process, and ultimately empowers them to make confident claims about their sustainability efforts.  He plans monitoring activities, independently reviews results, and certifies clients to applicable programs when there is one that is strategically relevant.

Trained in multiple ISO standards (ISO 14000s, 17000s), a certified Lead Auditor for the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS), and an AccountAbility 1000AS provider, Matt is proficient in helping food and ag companies to assess, manage, and communicate their sustainability performance.
