Zach Pinto is a Manager at KCoe Isom where he works in the firm’s sustainability division.

Zach uses data analysis and technical expertise to help food and agriculture clients achieve their sustainability goals. Zach helps producers, processors, retailers, and industry NGOs build sustainability programs and strategies, develop sustainability metrics, analyze data, set goals and targets, and report on progress. He is also an accredited verifier of dairy biomethane projects under California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard.

Prior to his time with KCoe Isom, Zach designed surveys for a social impact research firm in New York and researched agricultural greenhouse gas sequestration. He began his career at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, where he worked to address issues related to agriculture, climate change, and clean energy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Middlebury College.
